If you enjoysed the Harkonen Pillage Party, give the Smugglers a shot. They are even better at pillage economies. In addition they have a unique technology wich multiplies all grievences from previous and furture raids by 0. Which means you can pillage without long term repercussion from the get go with them. In addition with the reduced annex coast from surplus water.. you can steamroll pretty hard.Not to mention that Free Companies + Snipers are just straight up broken. PS: The Agreement -1 with Atreidis is a bug in the interface. YOu won't actually loose the Authoroty, even if he proposes the deal.

I really like this aggressive playstyle in contrast to the easy chill Atreides. I kinda hope you scout a little of their area just to check if the AI is as good at how easy it felt to see you get more area, just for comparison. Nice vid. Keep it up.

Just bought it yesterday after seeing your gameplay. I played as the harkonnen and destroyed all the factions. Military is a lot of fun and a little broken late game. Found so many exploits you can use against the ai haha, hopefully they will patch that up.

I prefer the Atredies game play. It's more economic and diplomatic and turns into a juggernaut once you get the economy setup. They can create a lot of allies.

If you blob up the ranged units, every 3.34 units will be inflicting full damage in the aoe range. So you'll be focusing however big the aoe is.

I started easy highly recommend playing fremen or atrides first it helps you learn a lot then you can try harder factions like harkenon and then start upping the difficulty. I'm excited too play multiplayer

Projectile weapons aren't useful when people have shields, but can't use shields on dune as it attracts the worms.

Water deficit will lead to political unrest in villages under your control which starts rebellions but you seem to have enough total water. Maybe there's a per village water stat?

I was hoping for a more classical rts like dune 2 was. This defently looks more macro management northgard vibe. Even northgard was more hands on combat than this. What a shame. Might play it but not sure; if it had 50% more dune 2 and less civ I would have rushed to pick it up for sure.

I hate fake difficulty, in that first fight you had with Atreides they kept bringing four new units, no way they had the cash and built them that quickly. Ppl should just make beyter AI instead of letting the AI cheat

There's no microing units in this. It basically just doesn't matter.... And harvesters can auto-avoid worms, so stakes are pretty low actually. It's a very mediocre game. And not an RTS.

If you watched the video you would see that there is microing units, not much but it is definitely there. And the auto feature for the harvesters doesn’t count sending them back. It still interferes with spice production (you can’t exactly harvest spice from the air). And even if those criticisms held water, there is still the ai to fight Edit: one more thing to add. I’m assuming that the reason you are complaining that this is not an rts due to dune 2000. To counter that, this is a separate dune game. It’s not dune 2000 2 or something. Therefore, it does not have to be a rts.
