I comparison shopped, learning and losing other drones for months. I fly in the city. This is it! Does what I need and want. Resolution is excellent. Stop nit-picking. For about 200 dollars, this is it! You'll never remake Gone With the Wind. Get real. DJI can go scratch. The Potensic SE doesn't crash. Controller is perfect for me. I'll get a 3 axis model soon.

I bought a Mini 2 SE and it was crap. It never got off the ground as the drone wouldn't connect to the controller. DJI tried to help, to their credit, but it was days in between emails. Apparently they're busy. If the thing won't connect when brand new with all firmware updated the day I got it, what would happen when I drove an hour or two to take some footage and nothing happens? That's a waste of time and money, two things I never have too much of.

Looks very good for the price. The 4K footage is very impressive. The Fimi X8 V2 sells for about the same price, though, with 5km range, 4K30 and similar flight times on a battery.

The Dji mini 3 SE can be bought for the same price or $50 more for the combo package. Although Amazon do offer peace of mind when buying , the drones they sell tend to be priced above many other outlets.

Because Potensic updates its firmware all the time, you can drag the altitude limit to far above 400 feet now. That’s no longer an issue

You need an SD card in the drone. You can download the footage from the drone to the phone through the app

3 questions. 1- how to unlock the flying range the way you did? Mine doesn’t fly that far. 2- how to switch the footage from landscape to portrait? 3- how to record videos straight on the app and not in the SD card?

In the app there is a option how far it can go. You have to turn the beginner mode off. You cannot record in portrait mode with this one. You can’t record the videos directly in the app. You can download them from the sd card through the app from the drone

It is equally good for taking movies and still shots for just walking around..you can make a simple mono pole attachement by gluing a nut to the bttom of your drone storage strap..attching the dfone onto your mono pole when you really cant fly it..

Drone manufacturers ( and reviewers) don't have a clue how it should work. Shame because if the feature was done right it would be a really nice hiker/biker drone.

​@@RedskullPro Hi Alex. I have now tested my drone and i must say I'm very disappointed. First of all the drone is losing GPS satellites in mid air that resulted in a crash and damaged the propellers. I contacted potensic and provided my flight log they analyzed. They confirm that all sudden the signal is lost and the drone starts to circle around very fast in the air uncontrolled which can result in crash if you flying low and near building. They cant say why my drone is loosing GPS satellites and they offer me a new drone with 1 battery (since i bought the combo kit that includes 2 batteries) and 30 euro for shipping. BUT when i bought it the shipping was 10 euro, so they don't seem very helpful when charging me 3 times the shipping fee from beginning. its not my fault the drone is broken . Also i don't think its real 4K camera since the quality is very low. i would say 720P max on low heights and 480 when you are but up in the air. Before buying atom i was planing on buying DJI mini2 and now i regret i didn't go with that instead since this problem with atom. be careful with your drones. When it lose connection to satallites it can get really ugly! I also did they calibration before every flight and it still losing GPS so i just want to give heads up to everyone.
