The remote, camera and flight characteristics appear to be identical to the SJ R/C S20W. It's amazing how similar many of the toy drones are.

As always, nice job on the review! A minor note: your link currently goes to the T18 without the case and only 1 battery ($140 w/coupon). The one with a case and extra battery, also on Amazon, hits in at $190. I'm not sure about the value at those prices, but that's kind of up to individuals. But thank you for your video. I always find them well-done, interesting & helpful.

Howdy, Kelly! Looks like a good small beginner drone for kid or adults. Getting two batteries is a bonus! The bug question is, are additional batteries available easily? Looks like a fun beginner drone for my grandsons, and maybe even me too, LOL! Thanks again for another fun and balanced review, take care! AND, a big shout out to Philip also!

I have this exact drone. In order to change the speed from 1,2 or 3, you push straight down on the left joystick like you're trying to push it into the controller body buy you don't have ro push hard before it clicks a d the speed icon will change.

Bought my T18 about 3 years ago now. It did not come with an extra battery or a hard case. I think I paid $129 at the time. It is fun to fly and good to learn on. The photos are pretty good but the lack of gimbal makes you not waste time with video.

For only around $100 more I would rather get the Hubsan Zino. With it you get a 4k camera and a three axis gimbal. The T18 does have a nice case, I will give it that.

Looks like a decent low budget drone! It is to bad that they didn’t add some sort of gimbal. It kind of reminds me of the Parrot AR Drone. What is the range on this? Nice video, Thank you!

The toy drone market is flooded with this type now and they don’t appear to be improving much. What’s your thoughts on the latest DJI rumours about them entering the fpv market?

I always watch your videos. There was something wrong with the white balance on the second camera, it was distracting, otherwise it was a great review. Wish I was going to spin up but I live in Canada and it’s very expensive to fly to Texas.

Sub 7-minute flight time, no adequate warning for low battery, and nearly the price of a much better gps drone is a thumbs-down product, not a “I like this little guy!” recommendation. The RCSaylors comment about drone reviewers who hesitate to be candid about bad products. Seems like this is one of those videos. BTW, you might want to ditch the multiple camera angles but mostly side-view format. This video reminded me of those health insurance TV ads put together by some chick who is six months out of getting her degree in marketing who thinks that the sideview makes someone seem more “relatable.” All you need to do is walk towards the camera like you’re in a car dealership commercial and speak in a soft, so-sincere-you’re-convinced-the-audience-members’-families-will-die-if-they-don’t-buy-your-product voice and you’ll be ... well... unwatchable.

Drones at this price usually have crappy cameras. In fact even more expensive drones also have terrible image quality until you get into the DJI's with 12 MP cameras.
@WisGuy45 жыл бұрын
@@mikeskor6230 Gee, thanks for that helpful Marie Antoinette reply. Were you wearing your Captain Obvious hat or your DJI Fanboi hat when you wrote that? Except, the Breeze isn't bad and the Parrot Bebops are better and very respectable as far as image quality. Do DJI drones probably have the best cameras? Yes, but you pay through the nose for that quality.

Cute little drone but once again we see a company that clones the look of the DJI Phantoms. Time for DJI to change that design.
@akaredcrossbow5 жыл бұрын
Stan Cook dji should come out with a flying saucer shape drone. The landing gear would be mechanical in and out of the body of the drone the camera gimbal would also be inside the middle of the drone, basically cutting it in half so it could go around the craft 360 degrees and another camera inside the craft that could look up and down. Good old ufo 🛸 look. Unfortunately there is not to many new designs that could be achieved anymore other than the traditional looking drone and a drone that looks like a bug. Until new technology comes along and we don’t need propellers any more, we are stuck with 4 propellers or one propeller.
@StanCook5 жыл бұрын
@@akaredcrossbow What a great idea. You should write it up, make the design and send it off. Maybe they will hire you. Until then we will just have to wait for the next big thing.
@everybuddy59245 жыл бұрын
or suggest akaredcrossbow to contact a Chinese manufacturer and have them make them, of course you need to give up the patent so the manufacturer can mass produce copycats.
