I too had a hard time following when you took your project off camera and didn’t go back to what you were teaching. I was able to rewind take a picture and blow it up and fix what I thought you did, but was wrong and had to take it out and re do it. All in all, I am very happy with my piece and now ready to try another one. I absolutely love it. Thank you!

This is a beautiful design💜 I do agree with others that the video was a bit difficult to follow and it was not all recorded on screen for viewing; like the bail, I think showing it would have been easier for the viewers as well as showing which hole you 1st went through on the quad. Plus it is nice to see each step 3-4 times in general, to record to memory, . I know others were not used to not having the introduction of beads necessary to make this piece. However, you did a good job making sure it was in the details & adding the link to the Potomac page for the list as well (they may not know to look there). I do have few questions⁉️ 1. What length of thread would be best to make knots around the piece? 2. Can Fireline thread be used? 3. What changes would I have to make if a possible swap of beads from the Tile beads to SperDuo? I only mention superduo beads because they seem to be the closest in size (to my knowledge) that I could find. If there is a better bead to swap with PLEASE advise. I obviously love your design since I'm asking so many questions to make it. Nothing is ever perfect I hope you do not take my opinion harshly, it is not meant to be taken that way.

thank you!! i think i used 6 ft of thread..i'm pretty terrible at measuring but i typically start a project with 5 or 6 feet. Fireline can be used. And as for switching out the QuadraTiles to Superduos, i don't think it will work or there would have to be more modifications on the design because of the need for the 4 holes on the QuadraTiles versus the 2 on the Super Duos..but try it out! Makes some changes, would love to see what you come up with!! Maybe a 4 hole Square Tile would work too? If you need more help or have more questions, please feel free to PM me on Facebook!! Happy beading!!

Beautiful pendant! And what knocked my socks off was that I ordered supplies for this on 11/15 and received them yesterday 11/18! Omgoodness! 3 days to pick the order, ship it and for it to arrive! Can’t ask for anything better than that!! Way to go, Potomac!! Am planning on working on mine today!

A very pretty result, not terribly hard to do, even if there are quite a lot of steps. Thank you.

Is there an earring tutorial that would somewhat match this pendant using the Luna cab 12 mm?
@Oonagh723 жыл бұрын
How pretty would that be as a little picture frame? Either as jewelry or just on display.

It was hard to figure what was done when we were left viewing a blank mat lol I skipped the last row coz I ran out of beads. I think I prefer it lol. Used a Grape cab, Purple Iris round instead of crystals, Metallic Gold Iris for the seed beads and Etched Dark Infernal 4mm Czech. I wish I could post a photo. It looks 🎉🎉🎉 imo

I’ve read that Luna cabochons can become sticky and/or tacky and many beaders won’t use them.

This is beautiful, but some of the steps as outlined by the bookmarks actually contain two steps, and as someone who was trying to jump from step to step once I understood the instructions for the particular part (as there was a lot of superfluous chatter for my skill level and preference), I'd go to the next marker only to find out something else had been added somewhere in the previous one and I'd have to click around until I found it. Overall I think I only actually spent 15min on this video instead of the whole 30min because I didn't need a lot of the repeated instructions (though I understand some folks do need that), so accurate bookmarks are extremely important to me. They'll also be good for if you're using the video to make the pendant as there will likely be a lot of pausing and starting (and possibly having to set it down and walk away for a bit).
