Hi Nick, thanks for sharing your experience with buying from the Potted Elephant. I was impressed and ordered 4 plants, 3 peps and a Senecio macroglossus (which I learned to like from one of YOUR videos). Potted Elephant had BEST packaging of plants I’ve ever seen! Other good packagers are Steve’s Leaves, ILL Exotics and Planterina. (US Sellers). Unboxing healthy plants is such a joy! Thanks Nick! Phenomenal !!!!!!!

Vanessa Harris i use ASPCA which says some begonias are non toxic. Maybe I misspoke? I would love to know where you find which specific begonias are toxic as I have two kitties at home!

Pilea microphylla is sold as a houseplant? Wow, I only know it as a weed that was all over the place in the houseplant greenhouses I worked in! I always thought they were charming little things even though I always was having to rip it out of plant pots it had invaded, neat to know they make good houseplants.

LOVE Potted Elephant! I live in Portland and just got my second order from them. I got a Raspberry Ripple peperomia too, and yes they're so pretty!! The camera really can't do it justice. Everything I've gotten from them so far has been in amazing shape upon arrival and took to re-potting quite nicely after a few weeks. :) Glad to see one of my fave shops getting some cross-country love

The second begonia staying with E (i cant spell it 😂) is commonly referred to as “beefsteak begonia” mine is super large and it gets dainty light blush pink blooms on a realy long stalk and big leafs! it’s amazing. i hardly need to water it because of how thick the stems are

They left a sour taste in my mouth, in a stint where someone took cuttings of some plants from PE, they valued the loss so highly they valued the clippings at $2000! I’ve done my research and they plants they lost were not worth 1/3 of what they said they lost.... imo they are shady people who tried to profit off of a negative situation and I won’t support them
