Pottery Barn Dupe DIY || High End Furniture DIY || How to build a console table

Friends, today I am so proud to share this $1,100 Pottery Barn furniture DIY dupe with you! My husband and I built this stunning, reclaimed wood console table from scratch. This DIY furniture dupe was a relatively easy DIY project. Follow along as I break it all down and share how we got the Pottery Barn look for less.

Wood Measurements:
You will need four 2x4x8 boards and four 2x8x8 boards for this project
From the 2x4x8 boards:
- 4 legs cut at 31" each
- 2 cut 5'5" boards to complete the top of the frame
- 5 cut 10" boards for side supports
From the 2x8x8 boards:
- 2 cut 6' each for the top shelf
- 2 cut 5'5" for the middle shelf (exclude this shelf if you want a more exact match to the Pottery Barn piece)
- 1 board will stay it's original 8" width
- 2nd board will need ripped down to 2.5" wide

Absolutely beautiful!! You have an amazing workshop with so many cool tools! I’ve seen people use chains to age wood as well, just in case you need to dupe reclaimed wood in the future.

Your blade is tearing that wood up, check and see if it is installed backwards or needs replacing.. the wood should have real smooth cuts.. really nice table !!

I know the wood prices are really expensive but they're not as expensive as going into furniture store in purchasing said finished piece made out of a white oak or cedarwood . I mean I looked at a free-standing mantle that started at like $1, 800
