The way your camerawork gets us up close and personal is so great. I can almost imagine your hands as my hands. Your teaching skills will surely make a success of the class you’re offering!

I believe this is the best your hair has ever looked except when you first started when you had the black hair.

Could you do this technique on wood paneling walls that have already been painted white? I'm looking to DIY a faux wood cladding look like in Chalet interiors.

Another great video for us! Are you pretty much doing this finish exclusively?

Hello , new to your channel , really enjoy your work . Have you ever done a piece in say a muted green or blue , with this pottery barn technique ?
@lalathebenificent133512 сағат бұрын
I have wondered that, too
@blacksheephouse11 сағат бұрын
I did a blue color before but didn’t do a video on it, maybe I should 🙂
@Mike-ig6jk10 сағат бұрын
How did the blue turn out ? I think a piece with the top done in your traditional pb finish , then the body / drawers in a color for a little contrast .

I have done one that was shade of green and it turned out fantastic . I used your videos to perfect the finish 😅

I run my dehumidifier in my shop after I paint to help it dry.

OMG this is gorgeous. After the holidays, I am doing my huge dark coffee table in this method, plus a three drawer chest in the same room. I want to update the dark end tables too with paint, but don’t want to overwhelm the room with same technique. I like light colored furnishings. Any suggestions on paint color for the end tables? I was thinking maybe a light taupe but thought I would ask you since you are interested in design. I bought the end tables and coffee table from an auction and dark colored mahogany is not my thing,

Can you use gel stain instead of glaze?
@blacksheephouse11 сағат бұрын
You sure can, the color match is Aged oak by minwax. I use a grayish color gel stain in this video here kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKbJoqdrfcx9mZYsi=QnF36itzUknqYSnK

What color glaze did you use?
@blacksheephouse11 сағат бұрын
Rustoleum decorative glaze in color Java brown but the other Rustoleum glaze in the color aged glaze by chalked is the exact same color too

Sorry, I missed the actual hack explanation. It's using a spray poly instead of regular canned poly? And for the Rub-n-Buff, no need to buff?
@blacksheephouse11 сағат бұрын
Yep, just a spray poly and then light brush over really fast, no drips and no accidentaly wiping away your glaze if it’s not fully fully dry - 🖤 and yep, I don’t buff the rub n buff just let it dry!
@julietornquist30125 сағат бұрын
Is there a reason you don't just use a can of poly instead of the spray and then have to brush it anyway?
