@@InsideofSky thank you! Andy Ward has some great videos about wild clay. I collected some last summer and had some fun refining and pit firing it. I made a mistake when I put a small “wild” pot in with my regular clay and it just melted into a puddle!!

@ this wheel is a shimpo - they are great wheels but high price if you are starting out. I also have a Vevor 450 w with a touch screen and foot pedal and it is good - probably limited in how much clay you can throw (up to about 1 kg) but pretty good for the price. I have a video where I used it kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIvTlpKuqLBgeM0 but I would be glad to do another with more discussion of pros and cons if it would help.
