At the studio where I throw we've all started buying colorful plastic table clothes from the dollar tree. They're huge, last a long time for covering pottery over and over and in a community studio, it's easy to find your work if you have a different color from other people. Might be cheaper than purchasing rolled plastic but now you're probably set for a long long time.

That is such a BRILLIANT idea, I love it you can add some color and especially in a community space how easy to find your work. I think the roll I got will last like 10 years lol. It’s a small pleasure but clean plastic is pretty nice :) Thank you so much for watching!

Lisa, you are an absolute delight to watch. I love your new studio. Your pride and enthusiasm in bringing us into your studio shows and is so pleasant. I smiled ear to ear seeing your excitement with the Stanley cup holder working so well. Loved the "bat mobile" and all the creative work you have put into making your studio your sanctuary. I will live vicariously through you. Thank you for showing us your space. It's beautiful. Looking forwarding to watching your work and learning a lot. Happy New Year !

Beautiful! Very satisfying to get it all designed, built and organized to your specs. What a lot of work! I think the flexibility of cleats and wheeled units is really smart. Pretty green tiles! If you feel like it, you could make small feature tiles to intersperse with them. Thanks for inviting me in!

Lisa, I love your batmobile. Gotta make me one of those. Actually, I like that you have many things on wheels to make cleaning easier and to move them in and out when desired for use. Really, I like everything. Hint; I use the plastic coffee cans with snap on lids and built in hand grips for storing glaze materials and even mixed glazes. The lids snap on and off easily unlike screw threads that often jam due to gritty components and evaporation of water is minimal. I have mixed glazes stored in these containers for over a year with very little water loss.

Ohhh great tip! The screw tops are really a pain sometimes. Thank you so much I’m glad you got some inspiration to build some bat mobiles!

Hey. Looks great. I use a ½ inch concrete backer board for the tops of my tables for my reclaimed clay and ¼ inch for my inserts on the wheel.

Thanks for sharing Lisa! What is that green thing on your wheel that you have your tools stuck into? Looking forward to what you share in 2025!
@Lisa.Riland5 сағат бұрын
You are very welcome! It should be a great year 😊The green thingie is linked below the video, it’s essentially a drying rack for baby bottles…. But I find it way more useful for pottery tools.
