Good repot, and the plant looks good too! I hope the rest of your collection is doing better as well! I feel lots of blooms coming. :D happy growing

Thank you very much. Yeah, so happy I tried out the paraffinoil you suggested! And now I suggested it to my friend Andre who has the same problems with his milts. I think my plants might need another spraying .

Danni does it to wick water from bottom of the pot. It was done so to keep hydrating in her climate. If your climate (I forgot where you are from) has high humidity, the moss on the bottom probably would promote rotting. If that the case, it was good that you keep your Miltoniopsis in smaller pot.

Hey Yoshi, i live in Germany, actually, there is a lot of sphagum moss throughout the pot. i have tried keeping them on the dryer side, but then root and plant growth overall weren't as convincing, but you are right of course, keeping your plants too wet always imposes the risk of rotting. Advice very much appreciated.

@@orchidsbythelake absolutely! But I am wondering if this Wetter way of growing them and the lack of distance between the plants caused the outbreak of the pest I had😒.

From experience, too much Spag moss will rot the new growths. With your set up, I recommend using 1/4 cup or water or less.

Thanks for the advice mike, indeed, I add water about once a week, I’m summer, I have to water inbetween, otherwise the media dries and. Indeed, it’s about 1/4 cup I guess, and so far, fingers crossed, not rot of new growth, but very old pseudobulbs had rotted in the past, but I guess this just happens
