reach division 1, at the end of each phase you get 10 skill trainers. But I still think the problem doesn't lie in lack of skill trainers, but in the fact that you get a random skill instead of you choosing it yourself

My perspective as a fifa player for years in elite div and playing weekend league every week. Sick of the same old same old week in week out there with inconsistent gameplay and unable to pack anything good, i've now moved over to efootball and i'm enjoying it so much more. After 1 week ive got a crazy good team packing some decent players already and gameplay is so much better now that i've got the hang of it. TOTW in fifa is outdated there and hasn't changed for years. Just my perspective as a new player.

They can't overpower them because they want to put them back in the 33 boxes at the end of the season, which you can then completely empty. I'm tired of what Konami offers its customers. New old cards every week is not new content. No new good content, no money. How simple is that.

All the players released today there’s not one single player worth spinning for, and I won’t be spinning anymore 150 packs for 3 cards that you rarely get. As Teresa May once said there is no magic money tree. I’ve got every player worth having and none of the cards released are as good as what I’ve got. There income is surely going to decline. Another worry is this model can’t go on, I can see them wiping clean the game with a complete restart next year. Meaning everyone will loose all cards.

i have players of the week from worldwide/ champions or europa league from last season that i still have real fun with/ an idea would be to have, same as the boosters, some kind of grindable asset that you can use to change the playstile (but they would have to make it hard to get)

Its usefull for challenges, moreover form is Always important in Pes. Of course who is not playing f2p it could be useless,but lot of player like me dont spend money (ok I bought Guardiola) in game. And try to play with standard players or with free legends. So it shouldnt be changed, the main problem every player were carried over....thats why gamers cannot appreciate these players,because they have lot of legends cards. Newcomers,for F2P players totw players are worth it. Especially of you get for example Lamine. I have Yamal,but normal standard version. This one is better, although you cannot add skills.

Barry I was giving it some thought. This is just a theory but do you think the reason they haven’t introduced edit mode is because of the card graphics? Think about it - If you introduce an option file with all the authentic club emblems/badges then those would obviously have to be reflected in the card graphics too no? Maybe that is not so easy to do hence the reason Konami haven’t introduced it? It’s such a basic feature but obviously it would have to be done in a way that it could be integrated into the card graphics

The game is not designated only for "us", for the players who have built a really strong team with a lot of epics. The game also supports the new players who need some instant good addition to their team (without spending training points), like POTW. I can't complain about it. If we could train literally every card it wouldn't allow this diversity

There is no quality POTW's anymore. I remember how good they were, when they were introduced in 2.0. On par and often better than Legends of that time. I often meet players with Full Epic squads that still using first POTW Pack Mbappe, he was a beast of a card! Most OP ones were during WC, we got cards like Godric...

i think we need to be careful with what we wish for here... like not turn into fifa. where average players are boosted so much they outplay legends and other real good player. but yes the totw is crap. i never spin totw. the free one is fun some times. at the same time i run a 2nd f2p account to just do an event every now and then. and for that the totw are like almost my whole main team :)

There were times. That there were really dimes. Cards that look like 94 and were 101 in another position. Like the leao card. But now..the highlight cards already go to 102. What used to be 95 going to 98 is now 96 going to 100. And the potw are still being released with 93, 94, 95 ratings. They are all less good than their real cards. The boosters are only useable with a or b form. Since i got alot epics and show times and highlights. These potw are just totally worthless. The yamal looks cool. But i want to give him acrobatic finishing. And whatever he misses. So its better to have his weaker version and add skills than a good version when hes in form. Without the skills i need. Most of the time its all the same players being released potw all over. The cb are always terrible. Midfielders box to box are probably the best options. Because of all the numbers being divided everywbere thet normally Arent needed.

I remember when POTW cards were OP back in PES 2018 I think and you could get really good players for low cost but now it seems like these are filler cards used to get severely watered down versions of players you like in real life, but some of them are not too bad and i'm sure you can score goals with them but compared to Epics and Showtime they are so far off sometimes its laughable. But for a starter squad + the icebreakers + the free login cards, you can get a pretty decent team going as F2P. They ARE good for getting GP as well and Booster Tokens.

My criticism is fair, you can spin it any way you want, as you always do, but if you take a breath and look at it objectively you're just excessively negative about POTW cards, there were many gems in the past year that you overlooked just because of that negativity biais (Kimmich RB, Pedri LMF, etc)

Again you’re focusing on Kane and completely missing the point. It’s not about a player being good, it’s about that 12 months on, POTW players are 1) still not as good as players we get for free and 2) still random. You can’t pick which one you want and miss out if you don’t get lucky with the player you want. I have used some gems and beastly POTW players and loved them, on f2p and main account. It’s not about the players, it’s about potential POTW mechanics and how it could freshen up and create hype. And also, no need in trying to get smart with the ‘spin it as you always do’ when I am showing you the respect to respond and engage with your messages where others would simply block you or ignore you and let you talk to yourself so I do respect your input and comment and the fact you watch. But don’t mistake that respect for acceptance of me taking comments like that. I mean I’m taking the time to respond as I value your input but I don’t spin anything, it’s my opinion.
