If you want to hear a world-class demonstration in oboe breath control and tonal color, listen to 2:40 to 3:00. Actually, its demonstrated throughout this interpretation. Mr. Still makes this sound easy to play at this level. That is the sign of a great artist.

Gorgeous tone! Superb breath control and dynamic range. Mr. Still's tone sounds almost French as opposed to American. Wonderful performance.
