Can you elaborate on how you did the end of the pvc. Did you slit the pvc and spread open with the wood circle inside the pvc. Thanks for your help.

I bought some plastic stops in the same aisle as the pipe and cut them to fit the opening that I cut in the PVC. It ha worked great.

Love your videos- after watching I found some old pvc rain gutter and just made a short one for my 9 Cornish Cross- what did you use to fill in ends looks like wood maybe? This is going to work great - I have one bird who always sits right in the food dish- not sure if they are being greedy or just like it or a bed. Also do you know how to tell if I have a hen or roo for the cross- I just can't it an answer. Thanks for sharing your journey with us- I am a newbie and you have been very helpful!

Do you happen to have any videos of the feeder construction itself?? What did you use to cut the uniform lines in the PVC and not have it be jagged/sharp??

Why do some chickens get black spots on there combs that are flush with the comb skin? The end of my roosters comb is turning black and he had not been through a winter yet so it's not frostbite. Why could this be?they all look very healthy and happy! The black spots on the hens combs are only on a few of them.

Are you sure it's black and not super dark red? Could be scabs. Sometimes from pecking they will get tiny cuts that bleed and they scab up really fast.

I really want to hear this video, my sound is all the way up, but I can't hear it. This is the type of feeder I want to make for my chickens. Also I have 20 hens and 2 roosters, how much grain should they be fed.
