The problem with poundland, atleast the one near me, is that all the makeup is in a huge pile and you have to sort through it. But there are some bargains! My friend got a kate lipstick!

Here in Spain I also find really impressive pigmentation in eyeshadows at chinese bazars and 1 euro shops, in fact I use some and no problem about allergies. That lipgloss is gorgeoous, I think you will use it a lot.

I have found some good things in the ones near me, but not things like this. I did get a Sally Hansen nail polish for 75p though!! Was really chuffed with that one and its a lovely colour

Totally agree about letting the mascara dry!!! I have always found a dryer mascara is easier to put on and has less clumps. I love the sephora "smoky extravagant" formula- it is a pretty dry mascara. It is a little more expensive but it is sooooo nice to apply and never clumps or is sticky.

I'm so envious on the variety. I usually do not found such great stuff at my local Dollar Tree or Todo Por 1 Precio when I visit Mexico. Such great stuff. When I go to the UK I will for sure go to the Pound shops and raid the Sleek counter.

You can't get sleek @ pound land, that's super drug. Pound land is your basic dollar tree so it also sells candy and other stuff. You just get lucky with what is in stock. It would be in usual to find anything there like sleek or Mua etc

Also there aren't specific counters. There is just a corner with beauty products miscellaneously.

Ive got the famous lipgloss. I got it on one of my skint weeks i really needed a lipgloss for an xmas party. Used it once, liked it but somehow never used it again until.......i had a loreal make over in boots an purchased several products for my wedding make up but in the end found the loreal lipgloss too wet and shiny. Found the famous one hidden in my make up bag, tried it with my wedding look and loved it! My wedding dress costs a bomb but my lippy cost £1 lol :) ive worn it a few times and its nice and subtle.

I brought 3 8 piece eyeshadow palettes from the 99p shop once, and the colours were nude, tan and porcelain. They were fantastic quality and very smooth. Us girlies know where to find a good bargain. xx

if you do have the orange fat mascara(sorry forgot the name) you could just use the same applicator but use a different mascara liquid like dip your favorite mascara brush into any old mascara bottle
