I'm a restless soul, wandering alone Roaming through this wide unknown Herding cattle, chasing dreams Wherever the wind may lead me, that's where I'll be Chorus: Come ride with me, through the rolling hills Feel the wind kiss your skin Let the music move your bones And the rhythm guide you home Verse 2: I've seen the cities, heard their sounds Felt the weight of concrete on the ground But my heart belongs to open skies Where the mountains reach the heavens high Chorus: Come ride with me, through the rolling hills Feel the wind kiss your skin Let the music move your bones And the rhythm guide you home Bridge: I'll take you to the places, where the coyotes howl Where the stars are brighter than any city light We'll dance around the campfire, sing until we're hoarse And share stories of a life lived right Chorus: Come ride with me, through the rolling hills Feel the wind kiss your skin Let the music move your bones And the rhythm guide you home Outro: Let's ride into the sunset, together we'll find A peace of mind that's hard to come by With each passing mile, we'll find a new way To live our lives free, wild and unafraid

Beleive it or not, this song, this very so g, is the FIRST song, that I've tried to play the power chords it uses. I couldn't tell you what an E, A, Cm, B, F, G# looks like before this. But I found the equicant power chords pretty quickly. I am almost keeping perfect time after only playing this tune for a day. It's also fun to find other chords to add some variation to the rhythm.

What on earth are you playing through? The tone is absolutely fantastic in conjunction with the touch you put on it. I have a pretty good sound but now I'm wondering if it's crappy in comparison....Seriously, what are you playing through. All of the videos I've seen you play have great lead tone; well all the tones are good, it's just that your tone sticks out (with my ears).
@ElevatedJamTracks2 жыл бұрын
This one is through my Friedman Twin Sister & two notes cab sim. The Revv G20 is responsible for most of my lead tones though usually!
@TigerLillyStudio2 жыл бұрын
@@ElevatedJamTracks Can you use this in a live scenario? When you say sims, I think computer software and that sounds complicated for live situations….I haven’t had any luck with software amps \ sims….that’s why I’m asking…
@ElevatedJamTracks2 жыл бұрын
@@TigerLillyStudio of course, there's lots of cab sim hardware units for live scenarios. Look up Captor X 👍
@TigerLillyStudio2 жыл бұрын
@@ElevatedJamTracks In your opinion, would the Captor X better be better than Redbox DI out on my Hughes & Kettner Grandmiester? My amp has power soak technology, but recently, I found out the expensive way that using this technology 1W, 5W, and 18W to keep the cab volume low (I live in a townhome with neighbors on both sides), it drives the head too hard (engineering limitation) and the tubes burn out much faster. I can burn up the circuit boards too at lower wattages because of arching shorts at the tubes trying to ground to the plates. Basically now, I leave my HnK in 36W mode and turn down the master volume to 1 when practicing at home but obviously I lose the sweet spot at that volume when recording. The Redbox DI out mode (speaker cabs turn off) sounds good on my HnK, but I am wondering if Captor X would be a game changer (better recording solution)?
@TigerLillyStudio2 жыл бұрын
@@ElevatedJamTracks I wrote some lyrics for a couple of your backing tracks and added other tracks as well (after modifying your video tracks into shorter video tracks). Would you be interested in hearing any of them? I don't have a following; maybe 60 subscribers, which is a bad joke on me since I've been writing music for decades. I get about 40 views on average so nobody in my circle really cares about what I do musically.....but I do like to play and write music (call it an obsessive compulsion) even though people in my inner circle apparently think I'm nuts to do so. For the record, I only sing because I can't get anyone else to do so....point of fact, I'm not really a singer! I just try and make things work any way I can within my physical, geographical, and recording limitations. I don't want you thinking I'm stealing your work and just so you know, on everything that I have written, I always cite the original sources so any artist gets credit. There is NO money involved and I have never been asked to endorse any products either. When you see my views and subscribership you'll understand what I mean. However, with that said, I would love to collaborate with artists and earn a living playing/writing music with those who feel I have something to offer as inspiration to the world. That has been like pulling teeth even though I believe in myself. Since I'm being honest, I didn't think I would be able to write or play again since I had a stroke in March of this year (2022) which left me partially paralyzed (80%) on my left side. I had to learn how to speak, walk, and play all over again, but God ensured I would come back from that and I worked extremely hard to do just that. I can't play the fast stuff that I used to play, but my skills are better in many ways than prior to the stroke. Anyway, I just thought I would throw that out there...

G#/C is gross. G#/B# would do a better job conveying that it is inversion instead of a hybrid. I get why you did'nt write Ab/C because that would obscure its function, but still I thin G#/B# would just do a better job. Great track by the way.
@foesfly30479 ай бұрын
I always enjoy your solos As A Fellow Guitar Player and you know how we players see, feel and appreciate playing that the general public might not. With this track- especially the solo, it occurs to me, you create melodic music that probably has commercial potential, beyond having just a fellow player audience. But what do I know. I still think Zeppelin is the greatest band of all eternity and I can’t stand Taylor Swift or (C)RAP/hiphop noise.
@Plemp.7 ай бұрын
Rap/hiphop/rnb/Soul have great musicians as well. One good example would be Masego. Check out the song tadow for example if you like. It’s not all the same sound. But I do indeed feel the same towards most popular rap music. I hate it, but I love the underground stuff
