Lovely shopping trip! I agree with Molly about those double ended felt pens. Even for £1 they are rubbish. I got them for my twins along with a new pencil case each and all the tops fell off in the case.

Lovely to see your older girls with you shopping. Obviously your eldest adores art your encouragement in regard to letting them but what they like is awesome. I brought my son up not to a labels person and to buy what he wants in regards to products and because it was always his choice I found him far more picky and thoughtful and it's made him a person who now he's older thinks first. He's not adverse to a Poundland or budget shop purchase because he's more inclined to look at item use or fabric comfort rather than price and label. Too many times I've seen parents refuse their kids stuff from Poundland only too see them buy items in " better named shops at twice the price" I know some things you get what you pay for but all the time and kids grow put of things or go off hobbies so quickly. So just wanted to say it's so refreshing to see parents who allow their children the opportunity to use their own judgement and choice rather than projecting a view that shops like Poundland only sell cheap rubbish, which can be totally untrue. Some of these budget shops at times could give some of the bigger branded shops a run for their money.

You did a great review on the things that you chose...I’m glad you were so happy 😁 with your family shop...”Poundland “, has a great bargain loving family if you like!!!, yes not everything is a pound, but you get the style, for less, many items are three for two, it’s the best in my eyes 👀 for bargains, the home wares are the great 👍, I got a six piece dinner set for far less than a boxed set from Wilkinson’s...their own cheap brand...I love it’s fashion, books, DVDs, their is nothing I don’t like about the shop, The staff are really friendly and helpful and nothing is to much that they wouldn’t try and get you what you are looking for if you can’t find it in the shop...keep up with your great blogs, looking forward to serving you soon 🙏🙏🥰👍

Hi Holly, my local Poundland (in S.E London) is getting quite good again, after it started to get a bit tired. They've had the Pep for a while, (though it's not huge). but just recently put in loads of fridge and freezer cabinets. They have some good food options now, and a fair bit of it is way cheaper than the supermarkets. 👍

really don’t wanna be mean but the car seat molly was sat in at the start it looked a bit small for her normally you can raise the head rest but if not maybe consider about buying another unless she will be moving out the car seat soon

I never understand people who complain about the pricing at poundland. 1) it’s not called ONEpoundland. Pound is the currency of this country. And 2) the cost of living goes up every year and it would be physically impossible to keep everything priced at £1. If they did keep it all £1, the whole company would’ve gone bankrupt by now which would result in thousands of people losing their job. I suppose thousands of jobless people is better than paying an extra 25p for something that was originally £1 🤷🏻‍♂️
