“Pour Me One In Silence” - Live at Fringe World Festival 2024, Perth
In Iran, whenever the weight of the world becomes overbearing,
we might visit a friend who brews us some tea.
Or perhaps we will sip a glass of wine together. We might talk about
our sorrows, or we may sit quietly without any words spoken, finding solace and peace in
each other’s comforting presence.
“Pour Me One in Silence” celebrates the supportive relationships in our lives. These are
the people with whom we share our precious moments when we are going through a season
of suffering. Spending time with these precious people can give us the courage and
strength to carry on while giving us hope to look toward the next day.
