God won't make you read your bible, although he wants you to. He gave us freedom to choose him. With that said, you must make the choice everyday to surrender. Instead, ask God to open up your heart to receive his word gladly. The spirit is like a muscle in that it will get weak if you don't fill it up with what it needs (God's word). Keep seeking the Lord.
