Happy Sunday friends! This is the high quality version of my best man's speech for my brother and sister in law in 2016 with home video clips mixed in that show some of what I was talking about.
I've been feeling tired and burnt out a bit lately, taking care of mom has been tough and work has been more demanding as well, just seems like there is a never ending list of things to do.
I appreciate all of you for supporting me week in and week out no matter what video I upload. It means so much to read all of your comments and it encourages me to keep going so thank you all!

You know after listening to your speech it made me reflect on how I treated my little brother the same way growing up, our dad died when I was 7 and he was 3 so there’s no father figure around just my single mom playing both roles even till this day that I’m 22 going on 23 and how compelling the love of God is to make my heart tender from the pain of losing my father and loving my brother over the years because we always would fight as if we would kill each other and my mom would cry and ask Jesus why her, she prayed without ceasing any and every time of the day for changes in her life and peace for her kids, and I was so tired of hating my brother for no reason and tired for being angry at him for his witty ways so I prayed and asked Jesus to help me love myself so I could love him because he’s hurt too he’s scared too he feels helpless too when he has no male figure around to teach him or to do father & son stuff with him he feels left out and hurt but my mom would always show him love in every way even her tone with how she speak to him and how she counsels and guide him and pray for him in and out and it made me regret the years I’ve wasted that I’ve could’ve been a better big sister towards him and so in all I do even though I’m not perfect I try to show him love and embrace him in ways like how my mom does to be patient and understanding and also not only tell him I love him but show him I do, it’s so crazy how the pain and hate you have within can be inflicted on someone so close to you that’s your own flesh and blood however I’m just glad that there’s always a God that answers prayers lol I’m sobbing so much right now haha😄but I’m grateful that you’ve decided to share a piece of your story and love for your brother with us, thank you😊

Especially in Asian families, we bear hella lot of responsibilities not only for our siblings but also for our parents and we make huge mistakes in life at the young ages that we later end up regretting because at that time we were in the process of figuring out the rights and the wrongs. But most importantly is how we are able to heal and learn from those mistakes and improve ourselves in the future. Learn how to appreciate, love and protect our fam and loved ones.
