Thank you SO much for posting this video! This is the first one I have found explaining the process of finishing off your painting. I love the way you explain everything on detail, also your voice is rather soothing. Being a Southerner, your pronunciation is one I can understand .. we talk very slowly & your lovely voice is easy on my ears! Thank you again . I am a beginner with a lot to learn !

Julie, thank you for sharing this video. When I used varnish in the past year, I'm a beginner, I brushed it on with a foam brush. Your way is way easier and looks better. I had a lot of small bubbles that were a pain to see and pop. Again thank you and this painting is so beautiful.

For air bubbles that pop, if you don't have a pointy spatula likes yours, a toothpick dipped in the sealant will drop just the right amount into the popped air bubble.

I received so many amazing and new ideas, short cuts rwithout sacrificing the integrity of the painting, what so ever! I fact I’ve tried your pour\ balloon idea I was very pleased with the outcome. You should definitely teach a techniques course on The Art Of Painting: New Ideas!! I’ve scene at least 100 KZbin videos, on The Dirty Pour method of painting. There is only a handful of people that have got what it takes to not make a viewer like myself literally fall asleep. Thank You sweetz!!

First: lovely garden! Love the bird sounds - peaceful! Second: The painting looks great and seeing you do this answered a couple of my questions about how the painting looks with the varnish on. I have done several smaller paintings in the last several weeks - I am a beginner - and it will soon be time to varnish or put resin on top the first ones I did. Again, than you for showing us how to - and for letting us have a peek at your lovely deck and property. :-)
