I don't usually come on line to comment but I have been watching (on my tv) for a long time. I used to love to paint but due to arthritis and respiratory problems I can no longer do so. I watch you (also Gilly and many others) for pure relaxation and enjoyment. There is no mistaking you and Gilly for each other. Totally different styles, accents and personalities. I love when my favorite artists interact with each other....in a positive and supportive way. Enjoyed your first live stream when many of my other favorite artists joined chat to support you. This is how it should be. But it takes away ALL enjoyment for me to hear one artist disparage another artist for ANY reason. It is unbecoming. I enjoy many styles of art and painting, I truly hope I can continue to enjoy yours too. We ALL need more enjoyment in our lives, not more stress. Do have a peaceful, blessed day. Stay safe and healthy! 💓

Do you really think it's THAT hard for Gilly to be unique (and not an intellectual property thief) and come up with her own name????? There's a comment just a few below your's saying that person thought Gilly was PART of the Australian Acrylic Pouring Group.... Gilly needs to get off Julie's coattails. Is it really that hard?? Here's some names for the lazy ____: Acrylic Pouring with Gilly Kube Sunshine Coast Acrylic Pouring Queensland Acrylic Pouring Gilly's Acrylic Pouring Group And that took 2 minutes.......with typing!!! But, I guess I must have superpowers or something! Especially compared to certain lazy people out there........... 😏
@niteowl37784 жыл бұрын
My aren't you rude. Are you also psychic? Do you know what others think? Gilly HAS her own name on her site, just as Julie does. No one is riding on anyone's coattails. The name for the Facebook group is a VERY common and unoriginal name to begin with. It is more just a geographic location identification type name. Not unique at ALL. Now you are making a claim of "intellectual property theft" on a public forum . You might want to be careful. First unless the name was trademarked or the domain was bought there is no claim. Julie stated on this forum that she had changed and was not using the name. Therefore she has no claim on it legally. I have never seen Gilly ask for payment for content, so there is no profit. Gilly is NOT responsible for what anyone else thinks or mistakes, likewise Julie is not responsible for rude behavior of those that post comments on her site. So "Karen", take your keyboard and take a long walk off a short pier. I have no patience or tolerance for nasty rude people. This should not have been put into the public domain where immature childish individuals with poor self control can use it to needlessly attack others (ESPECIALLY behind their back as you have done "Karen"). Grow up. 😉 smh ...

Agreed! I adored where she "over-flicked". Reminds me of the chameleon skin technique I've seen another artist do, but Gilly's is more random & organic. It's fabulous!

Thats a great result from just flicking the silicon i amight give it a go. I just cant do it and now im sick of it. Im onto resin now with loads of paint left. I will try this method. To be honest i don't like Jillys presentation or the sound of her voice. Its not for video. Not being nasty just telling the truth. I love your waving hands your birds outside and your general interest in your viewers and the angle we are watching it from. You do great work and you try new things. You don't follow whats en vogue. Keep it up and I'm sorry you have to go back to work. Needs must. Lets hope this COVID-19 will pass but here in the UK it's as bad as May was. I fear for my 80 year old parents who i haven't seen since Christmas because of distance. Take care and stay safe💖💖💖

Yours is one of the only acrylic pours I've seen done where the artist knows when to stop! Apparently, it's really easy to go overboard, way past the point where an acrylic pour looks its best. Here, you stopped and added the silicone cells just at the right point! Perfect! This is really neat-o! Thanks so much for the upload, and Greetings to you, JULIE, from the USA!

Yeah, putting it on canvas creates "silicone resistance"! Not fun is it? The same can happen if you don't mix silicone in well with paints, especially on edges...so frustrating!
