Well. I don't even know where to begin to thank you for these comprehensive, complete, and easy-to-follow tutorial for the assembly of this trike. Honestly, the instruction manual was so ridiculously UNhelpful that I'm not sure in which future decade I would have finished putting this together - if ever! You do a great job ... I don't own it any more but from memory you rotate the pedal which is attached to a white rotating bit of plastic. This must engage into the wheel groves which then allows the pedals to rote the wheel. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

Amazing video, quick question - i've slotted the pole for the parent handle in correctly but the holes at the bottom don't quite match up and I can't feed the pin through. Could I have made an error in assembly somehow to cause this or would it be a faulty item? Many thanks Gareth

Hi Gareth, if I'm honest I haven't had this trike for a while now and I assembled it a few years ago. All I can really suggest is to check you followed video step by step. I remember the instructions that came with it were awful. Best of luck with it.

From what I remember you have to line the wheel up with the loose plastic hub part, then slot it into the grooves on the wheel. Hope that helps.

Hi, yes it is but you need to partly dismantle the handle bar and wedge something down it to release the clip. It's not easy! Good luck.

YES!!! And also the “push” handle! I was wondering if others were having the same issue with that also. The rear axle is round, and the shaft that holds the push handle is also round, so it doesnt sit flush against the axel.

If they run loose they are either not lined up with the thread or there's a chance you can over tighten them and strip the thread. If you never felt it tighten up then you just need to line it up if that makes sense? Sorry if that hasn't helped.

To be honest mine tends to do that. If your child rests their feet on the pedal it will stop turning as there is no real friction involved when it is disengaged but it is a bit annoying. Sorry if that hasn't helped! Thanks for watching.

Lauren Powell I have the opposite problem. I’m trying to engage the pedals so they turn the wheel but the plastic part isn’t staying in place. It will work temporarily but when my son starts peddling with any pressure it pops out almost right away. Bit of a design flaw if you ask me. Basically it just works as a pushcart lol

There are 2 buttons on the back of the backrest. Push them in and remove the seat. Then unclip the plastic safety bar from the front on the handlebars (should just pull away), and put the backrest back in. It's just the reverse of what I show in the video. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

Try removing the handle bar, and turn the lock switch, then refit the bar ensuring it slots over the pin inside the tube (as seen in the video). Test the switch before tightening back up. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

My daughter loved this but we've just upgraded to stage 3 and that hub thing to engage in the pedals just won't stay in the wheel. It clicks firmly into place and is difficult to pull back out again, but within a minute of her trying to pedal it slowly loosens then pops back out. Thinking about superglueing it in otherwise we're just going to have to toss the whole thing. Very disappointing.
