Very nice. How come streets are so empty, what time of day is this??. If possible do a POV shoot in some busy area. People like me who live in crowded countries will benefit more from crowded street photography. CT

Nice photos but what is so interesting about a photo of someone coming out of a door or a waiter walking on the street, or is it just the aesthetics? No offence, I have no idea about street photography, just asking out of interest.

No offence taken :) it’s a street photographer thing I guess. I wonder how come you chose to watch the video if you’re not into Street photography? 🤔

@@hipster_cph I watch your videos (not only this one) because I'm trying to find out what street photography is about. Out of curiosity: what did motivate you to take these pictures in particular?

Sounds fair. So the guys coming out of the door was a “chance” photo. It just happened and I “just” stood there at the right time to capture the moment. I think it looks cool with the old architecture and the workers coming out. The second the shadow workers series including the waiter is just a great composition and how I could take a simple photo of “just a waiter” and turn it into something mysterious for the viewer to look at ie. more than half his body covered by shadows. Might provoke a “what’s his story” etc. Again Street photography is all about capturing moments on the street - the overlooked ones, the mundane ones and the ordinary ones.

@@hipster_cph Thank you, Ambreen, for this insight into your thought process. I guess that I’m just lacking this type of fantasy or creativity… for me a waiter coming out of a restaurant is just that, a waiter coming out of a restaurant. I don’t see there any hidden story… But that isn’t a surprise at all. I started with landscape photography and only recently discovered street photography, and I have to admit that I’m more drawn towards documentary style street photography.
