Do you all get your own headset or is a communal one that lives in the tug?
@ramperryan7 ай бұрын
The company has many which stay in a box that contains the nose wheel steering pins for many aircraft so we can disconnect the nose wheel steering. These boxes get taken out when we go to flights or when taking a tug to a flight

This is something im interested in doing. How long did it take for you to pick everything up and feel comfortable? I feel like it's one of those jobs with so much lingo I'd never pick it up 🤣

I applied a few years ago and they give you all the training you will ever need to do this role. Other airports have different names and different ways of running these roles. And then different countries have completely different names for these roles. So for the United Kingdom in the simple way to explain Ramp agent - is a baggage handler/ loader/ ground crew Flight dispatcher/TCO is the person in charge of the turnaround of the aircraft and deals with the loading and weight and balance of the aircraft.
