As an 11 yr old, my ENTIRE class is all beauty gals who are so obsessed with their looks, meanwhile I don’t even have an image in my head when I think of “makeup products,” like all I know is that it’s something girls (and I suppose boys) use for an appearance boost, and sometimes for feeding their artistic perspective:) I use a little bit of makeup sometimes if I’m going to a party or something, but I’m not a party person either, sooooooooooo yeah.

Sometimes gossip also serves a purpose in a community to keep tabs on people and who might be safe, dangerous, going through it, etc. I wasn’t into makeup when I was turning 13 and I had one of those not like other girls phases, which I think is normal. But it’s okay to change and grow and try new things
