Sometimes gossip also serves a purpose in a community to keep tabs on people and who might be safe, dangerous, going through it, etc. I wasn’t into makeup when I was turning 13 and I had one of those not like other girls phases, which I think is normal. But it’s okay to change and grow and try new things

That is not the point of this video. Twelve year olds can and should use skincare, depending on their genetics and facial maturity. Usually, twelve year olds have already developed a lot of acne and breakouts. If this is the case for you, a safe and trustworthy skincare routine is essential. If you have lucky, clean-faced genetics, or simply a late bloomer, you may not need as advanced skincare. In simple terms, the point of this video is actually about the preteens that have a bunch of Sephora makeup and drunk elephant skincare that go live or post online a "storytime" as they do their skincare/makeup.
