I wish i would get the chance to drive something that gets sideways so easy. My z3 is on wide grippy tires, its got an open diff and the wheelbase is short so it really hates being sideways. It's also the fact that i have no prior experience in rwd cars and i've had a close call trying to get it to slide. But it's really nice watching your videos its always so smooth and it feels kind of relaxing.

I noticed you tend to "feed the wheel" a lot. I mean that you try to steer it super fast in one direction or another, when you start the drift. Try to let it go instead. You initiate the drift with a little steering input + clutch-kick, the car gets sideways and while it does so, it self-steers, because the front tires want to align in the direction the car is moving. So after the clutch-kick you just remove your hands from the steering wheel and you "catch" it again after a split second, when the car has reached the angle that you want. And from there you keep the slide going by balancing it with throttle + steering. This is WAY easier than feeding the wheel like you do!

Can I give you one Tipp? Please be Smooth with the gas I know it's hard, but you can better control the drift when you are Smooth with the gas after this your steering inputs are slower and more precise too
@OGBemfa2 ай бұрын
I was trying to be smooth, but the transition between the wet and dry patches on the asphalt made it difficult to predict what would happen next. In some areas, it felt like driving on ice, while in others, the tires regained grip on the dry surface. I had to constantly adjust the gas and the steering wheel. That's why it may seem I wasn't smooth. Also, open diff didn't help haha
@ALLROUNDFREAKE492 ай бұрын
@@OGBemfa Oh well, you have an open diff. I thought you already had a locking mod. I honestly advise against the welded diff if you like to drive the car normally. There are locking mods like this on the internet that you screw into the planetary gear of the diff and I think they have a variable locking force of 15-60%. You have to take a look so that it becomes easier again. Every beginning is difficult, that's how it was for me too, but one thing has always helped me: just give it the gas quickly. Once you've found the spot, you can only steer the car with the gas. What I used to think was cool to simply have more wheel speed is left foot brake so you can drive more angles at the same speed everything a lot of input I know but it looks really good like that :) leave the car completely and don't rush into anything I wish you a good weekend
