POV Drive: Ferrari 458 Speciale with Fi Exhaust!

The past week we were visiting Top Marques in Monaco. Our friends from R3 Wheels gave us the keys of their Ferrari 458 Special with an Fi Exhaust System; it sounds crazy! During the making of this video we occasionally came across Seb Delanney with his Lotus Exige Sport 380 and Mr JWW with his McLaren 675 LT.

1: 458 isn't turbocharged. 2: To get this high pitch the speciale also needs aftermarket exhaust. You're right about the rest though, the speciale is a masterpiece

You can tell right away from the shift lights if someone is stepping on it. That's what I like about Ferrari. Some people can fake sounds or the sense of speed in videos but the shift lights don't lie. Hell of a drive. Nice job! :)

I have an FI exhaust on my 458 it's not a speciale, but I enjoy seeing the Speciale in the wild pushing to 9000 rpms, basically a collector car's now most have less than 8000km and rarely tracked.
