I think you can save even more fuel when using the Cruise Control more often (so the electronics can do their work better) and use the retarder less often to use the electric motor more as a brake to regenerate energy.

Hi. Thanks for very useful tips. i gonna try to use less retarder when I driving a hybrid 👍🙂. We have a policy in company - 'eco driving ' and we get points for economic and calm driving . I have tested and when you are driving with the cruise control you get less points :). otherwise i agree with You att its better when computer steers automatically.
