Absolutely love the one I drive. It’s set up as a triple Roadtrain in Western Australia and pulls 300mt no problems

Feels funny going round a roundabout the other way for the first time , it’s horses for courses Kev , if you had bigger engine in your Volvo you’d be just as happy , get Volvo to give you the same as this , that’ll change your mind , C Taylor .

Yes I'm sure your right, all the other manufacturers trucks I drive are new high spec trucks, bit unfair to compare my old base spec Volvo 😂

I agree, much better feeling for the road in the Scania. Volvo electric hydraulic feels like a computer game. Do not like it on narrow roads. Scania is the Porsche of trucks. I want to try out a Peterbilt some day though. I think the long wheel bases makes American trucks handle very well.

What he said about the weight limit and getting permits for larger loads, you don't want to forget the permit.... Even a mobile crane needs the permits so when they stopped one in a control one weekend (over-size loads are not allowed weekend without extra special permits, as everyone is off to their cottages in the mountains/by the coast) they were fines 247,000 kroner (21,000 GBP at today's rates) for it, and had to park until Monday. Hope you enjoyed your visit to Norway, even if you didn't see a real winter... From a Scotsman living over here..

I suppose the difference driving a 650 compared to your Volvo FH 440, would be like my grandfather driving the Volvo F86 to the Volvo FH, apart from the lack of a gearstick, and a lever for high and low range on the dash!! god miss those days, but don't miss the Bath crawl at something like 10 mph up hill on the M4 when fully freighted, and hearing the engine scream!!
@michaelthomas36464 жыл бұрын
driving view was all good, until the sunlight through the cab, and you having to put the sun visor down, I bet #MoreScott, and Jenko are really envious of you and #LessLuke now!! lol

You know how much I love Volvos but the Scanias have that slightly better quality it looks like. I was a labourer at Stagecoach Fife & spent most of my time working on Volvos mainly the B10M PS Buses & Plaxton Premier coaches & they were brilliant to work on. & PS Buses by Alexander can take off like shit of a shovel as they were quick really quick Kevtee. Another fantastic video keep them coming Pal.

That truck climbs this hill for at about 2kms with 15+ tonnes of macadams without any single effort, I only heard 2 down shifts only , if I'm not wrong! Anyway only wanted to know what is the price of It?? Thanks for this video👍

Question from a non-truck driver; you said it was loaded with 50t? Aint the truck and trailer like 20t total, so total weigth would be 70t? Is that legal to have on public roads in Norway?
