Nice Videos from you. You have no comment, an no music. Only the engine sound, that's very good. Your two Camera Positions, Head Cam and Cabin View are good for looking.

Strynefjellet is a mountain area on the border between Stryn municipality in Western Norway and Skjåk municipality in Inland. The area is located just north of Jostedalsbreen and west of Reinheimen . Strynefjellet is referred to as the mountain pass . The national tourist road goes over Strynefjellet from east to west. These two roads are called old Strynefjellesvegen and RV 15 through Breidalen. [1] The Mapping Authority indicates Strynefjellet as the mountain area on both sides of Videdalen (county road 258) including Tystigbreen , Raudeggbreen and Raudeggi in the south, and Langvasseggi and Raudnova in the north. [2] The mountain area is partly covered by Breheimen National Park . [3] Strynefjellet is located at the main watershed between Western Norway and Eastern Norway, and in addition to the Stryne River, the area drains eastwards to Otta (river) .

What is the gate for? At 22:54 ? Also, these tunnels are amazing. Awesome drive.
@SURFpal4 жыл бұрын
Sine it was closed during summer conditions and the tunnel was in a sharp downhill section with cold and heavy mountain air at the top entrance, I think it is to prevent a rush of cold air that may change the microclimate in the valley below. In the winter it can be used as a waiting or meet up point for convoys going up from either side of the mountain. I don't think it is for air flow control during possible fires.
@superskrobb4 жыл бұрын
@@SURFpal your ide is not far from the truth, the gate is in the tunnel to prevent it to condensate,and ice up the road, like when the cold air from the mountain above meets the denser air from the wally below and makes fog, not so ok with fog in these narrow tunnels .When he starts climbing he is at ca 160 moh( 525 ft over sea level) and when he comes out of the last tunnel he is at almost 1000 moh (3200 ft osl) and still is going uppwards to around 1400 m osl (4590 ft).

Nice video, I am curious how well 520 pulls that trailer up hills? Does the Scania show on the dash what the grade is, or would you have to use something else to know that?
@KristoBoginski6 жыл бұрын
Stephen Wallace If it’s on automatic, the truck knows how steep the hill is but it won’t show it to you. But ofcourse you will feel and see it yourself aswell, in the video unfortunately you really can’t see it.

Hi, nice video. Why is it going so slow uphill? Did you have a big load? That last generation Scania passed you quite quickly uphill.
@KristoBoginski6 жыл бұрын
I have 30.5 tons of cargo in my trailer and he has alot less, that´s why he is going so much quicker. The gradient of the road is very steep. :)
@szlaeyer226 жыл бұрын
Kristo Boginski thanks for the amswer, now it’s clear. I see in other videos that you use the manual mode. Can you achieve better consumption so? If you follow the Scania “trainer” software, how’s the truck then to drive?
