On a mission to make Emily’s Dandy’s World OC’s work so TO THE DRAWING BOARD!! Sophie in Bookworm Shenanigans Character design: So instead of being a flower, with the wings part I decided to make her a moth, kind of like flutter but not flutter. She prefers to stand compared to flying/floating and is around the height of Shrimpo. She is a Rosy Maple moth (also my favorite because I mean, it’s so cute) and has a long light purple dress, something like Mary Poppin’s would wear but with a lot of (non-animal and safe) light yellow fur around her sleeves and rim of her dress, and wears fingerless yellow gloves. She doesn’t have a mouth like flutter but she can speak through sign language because she has… uh, hands, and she wears light pink boots. She also has antennas like Flutter and wings except slightly bigger and both mute & deaf. Character personality Description: ‘Sophie likes to keep to herself and stay quiet in her own little bubble reading books all day, but she is always willing to teach her fellow friends how to stay safe in the wilderness and what trees can help them!’ Sophie REALLY likes trees, she knows all of them. She knows which trees you can eat, which trees you can use as shelter, and which trees are dangerous. Besides that, she also knows what is poisonous or not and can identify something from not even touching it! But she prefers reading alone or with the Book Club and sleeping or just taking walks. _Fun fact! Sophie likes maple syrup with EVERYTHING, yes that includes mayo and vegetables and fruits._ _Fun fact 2! Sophie enjoys fashion :)_ Stats: Health: ♡ ♡ ♡ Skill check: ☆ ☆ Movement speed: ☆ ☆ ☆ Stamina: ☆ ☆ Stealth: ☆ ☆ ☆ Extraction speed: ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ Active Ability: ‘Are you sure?’ Sophie will make Twisted's go away from her if near for 15 seconds (Reason: Rosy Maple moths are colored to look poisonous and to trick predators into leave them alone). Relationships: Flutter - Cousins - They both get along well however communication is mutual. Flutter can understand sign language but can’t communicate back very well. However Sophie is very good at interpreting so it isn’t too much of trouble when ‘talking’ to one another. Brightney - Besties - Sophie feels extremely comfortable and alive when next to Brightney and loves communicating to her about trees and other stuff she knows a lot about. Thanks to Brightney reading a lot of books, she has learned sign language gradually and now Brightney vocalizes what Sophie says :D Glisten - Mutual Friends - Due to Sophie’s interest in fashion these two surprisingly do well in making/choosing outfits for one another. However communication is a bit hard with Glisten not knowing sign language and Sophie not often having a paper and pencil with her. They hang out sometimes, but not too much. Shelly - Friends - With Shelly talking about the history of dinosaurs once to Sophie, they immediately connected with by talking about how dinosaurs stay safe and how they survive in the wild, which is something both of the toons like very much. They talk about it often but on the occasion talk about other things too such as maple syrup :3 When finishing a machine: “👍” “🙌👏🙌👏” “!” “??… !!” When moving to a new floor: “?” “…” When using ability: “!!” “?!” When bought from Dandy: “Sophie! She’s a toon of few words that’s for sure!” Conversation e.g: Flutter: “!!” Sophie: “?” Flutter: “…, ?, !?, !!!!” Sophie: “?!, …🤜🫷” Flutter: “!!!” Requirements: 3000 ichor 100% mastery on Flutter Twisted Sophie - Rare Character design: Basically twisted flutter except her leg’s are visibly missing replaced with a stem like a flower with a light pink and yellow-ish tainted with black (aka ichor). Dress is ripped and torn and one of the wings is burnt near the end and the other looks like it got chomped by like pebble or something (lore????). Ability: “Infectious Scent” Gives Toon’s Confusion 1 and slowness 1 within the vicinity of the twisted (Tisha’s skill radius) Gimmick: Sophie detaches herself from the stem giving you a 2 second time window to run and hide and lose her attention before chasing you. Besides that, she stays wherever she is spawned in the map no matter what.
