This was AMAZING, thank you Sam for taking my suggestion and giving it a try. Throughout the entire video I had a smile on my face seeing how much fun you were having, and realizing how different a perspective long lens street photography is. I’m glad you had fun, and keep on creating more and stressing less my friend.

For me it's the way he holds the lens with the tripod/monopod mount that hurts me. And it makes the lens heavier that it is used to.
@TGShunai2 жыл бұрын
@@picasary Isn't it normal to carry a lens like that by the tripod mount? I do that with my 150-600 all the time.

@@TGShunai imo i find it uncomfortable to hold it on the tripod collar while carrying and shooting with it. And also it makes it even less steady while shooting at a long focal length

Dude I love the video! Here’s a challenge for you. Most creators who do photography such as yourself, don’t really use a kit lens for their cameras. My challenge for you is try to do a pov with your Sony A7IV and try to use the 28-70mm (kit lens) it sounds like a dope challenge.

Yeahhh this has convinced me to bite the bullet and get the sigma 150-600 sport f5-6.3. I’ve been looking at it for a year now, for wild life and holidays to the coast. But the idea of taking it to a city and taking photos like this excites me too! My only worry is I go shoot alone and idk if a lens as heavy as this would make me an easy target in comparison of a 50mm or 85mm which are a lot lighter and compact. 😊

this is amazing the photos you get with this are just crazy and you can't get these with some ordinary lens. Honestly tempting me to look into this lens now haha that photo of that man sitting down that you took after you took the photo of the couple with the camera on the ground with the cobble ground was amazing I loved that picture! It's sad that the father didn't accept that photo I feel like he may end up regretting it later as it's something nice to have, to look back on and also for the son when they get older. They'll never get the moment or the same opportunity again so it's just sad to think about honestly. It never hurts to accept the image either cos what's the worse that can happen they have a high-quality image they'll be able to keep forever :( It was nice of you to go back and ask again to make sure that he knew but you tried your best and didn't want to annoy them so it was the best you could do. I saw another comment that you liked of someone saying you should get a little printer and I think the same! :) I was going to say the same as I saw Pierre T. Lambert do that and hand out photos to people if he thought they would appreciate it on a video of his the other day.

This is one of my favorite videos using the 200-600 lens. I rented it a few days ago and have been using it for sunrises, moon shots, a bit of wildlife but mostly street photography and videography. You really do get a unique perspective. I'm still torn whether I should get this or the 70-200mm (which I haven't tried yet). I like street photography at night, so the 2.8 GM might be better for me. I will own them both eventually though.

Hit the nail on the head. It’s not very engaging if it’s 18 minutes or so of just the tip of the lens poking into frame at the top. But also if you’ve been doing it years you’ve built up muscle memory to carry this thing around. But of course VF would of helped more Especially with stability.
