@@TheCaffeineBeans I always do it over the sink. I just started out with Espresso, having a similar setup like you. I am struggling with milk foaming, often overstretching or understretching the milk. And if the consistency is right then the Latte Art is not an Art..

Totally, milk steaming is very challenging to master! It takes time to find that balance. We’ve found that leaning slightly towards the thicker side helped a lot, and now that we feel like we’ve got a handle on that, we’re working towards understanding the thinner side to meet in the middle. Lets keep at it, we’ll get there - Demi

Id go deeper cup, after a couple years any cup will work jest fine. the longevity of doing it will make it easy over time.You are doing very well so dont be down on yourself . I poor 3 or 4 shots a day so over time it gets better . Some days better then others.

Thanks a lot for the encouragement Brett! I really appreciate it! at the moment I’m only making maximum 2 cups of coffee a day so I think I may add in a couple of practice shots. I think I’ll switch to the deeper cups and try that. Please keep the tips coming, we really appreciate them - Demi
