NOT nessecerilly... Often the villain and hero care equaly for there loved ones and would anything for said loved ones. Usually, someone becomes a villain because either they are thinking "Protect these people and hang the rest. " (as in, doesnt care about anyone but certain people.) or they grew bitter after, say, they escaped to a magical world and away from a terrible home life, grew up in magical place, and then one day was just THROWN back into old life.

I kinda want to think this is actually Raven's mother. She found Ivy and noticed that Ivy just wanted to save the Earth because the humans were polluting it and not actually wanted to hurt people for the heck of it. She took Ivy under her wings for years, but when Raven's mother disappeared without warning, Ivy had no other guidance besides Raven. Who grew up without her mother, joined the teen titains, and when she met Ivy - she wanted to not only know more about her mother but also to help finish what her mother started. But since Ivy was too into villianess ways, it was impossible to get through to her and thats when Raven had to make the hardest decision: lose the only one who knew her mother well, and lost a potential friend. Idk, that's my crazy AU idea 😅

For those of you who don’t know- her emotions control her powers so she always has to keep a really tight lid on them.
