Idk why KZbin recommended this but I'm glad it did. I don't think I'll ever end being able to go to Japan in the future because of a disability I have that's why I enjoy these videos.

Hi. I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I am hoping that the future will find a way to make it possible for you to travel here. I'll do my best to also make more content that I hope you'll enjoy. Greetings from Japan, with love.

When you see all the walking required just to get to the store, you realize why the Japanese can eat so much food and remain trim! 😁

Thanks for sharing your shopping trip on KZbin. I subscribed because of it. We live in Southern California. My husband has traveled most of the world, and he fell in love with SoCal when he saw the produce, although I hope he fell in love with me more. We are spoiled here with our inexpensive and high quality fruits and vegetables...

All of that plastic being used is kinda overkill though. Here in the USA, they just put grapes in a ziplock bag. Stuff like cabbage and broccoli isn’t wrapped in plastic.
@jaklg79053 жыл бұрын
Honestly, with all that is going on now and how disgusting people can be, I rather have all of that produce in a bag. Especially the items that you eat raw. It is hard to eliminate germs just by rinsing things off.

@@redbetta2191 Umm, I don't think that you read my post clearly. It was Chastity Embick, that was concerned about the amount of plastic. I KNOW that Japan recycles and was not concerned about it. In fact, it was the opposite. I said that I liked that things were wrapped up so that others are not touching it. Please read posts carefully before you respond in a nasty way.

This is exactly what I’ve been searching for, I appreciate the noises of the city and following along on your shopping trips. It helps with my anxiety, thank you!

When I first started grocery shopping for myself it was honestly oddly satisfying, minus the part where I had to budget since I didn’t have work yet so I still used to rely on my parents with some stuff.

What is with all the plastic? We use plastic here in the US for certain things, but the plastic is at the very least reusable in some way or another in a lot of cases. Most plastic we have is on factory packaged stuff. Things like melons, cabbage, and most fruits are not wrapped in absurd amounts of plastic. It's not any more unsanitary for us considering we wash our food.

I work in a grocery store and the amount of times people touch produce is disgusting. I have seen people pick their nose and then touch a bunch of fruits and vegetables and put them back. I would rather have food that is not handled by every gross person and recycle the plastic then have it all out in the open. You can't sanitize fruits and vegetables that you eat raw.
@EndlessVoid983 жыл бұрын
The use of plastic on all those vegetables really bothers me
