Julia, I think 85mm and 35mm are good focal length for your next street photo, . Showery weather also seem to be a good time for shooting street photography as the reflection of the wet road, the lights bring an interesting mood to rather dour mood in an overcast cloudy days.

Why did you choose that focusing mode rather than taking advantage of the face detection and excellent continuous tracking? Just curious. Thanks for the video. Also, just an idea, but you could assign a lower shutter speed to a button for when taking still subjects while keeping the high shutter speed as default (noticed you had unnecessarily high ISO on a few photos where could have had long shutter time).

100% agree on doing something out of your comfort zone to expand your photographic vision and skills. I do portraits mainly as well, but picked up another camera specifically to use as an "everyday carry/experimenting" camera. Been practising street photography as well, but not gonna lie, it feels weird sometimes not being as in control of the 'shoot' as I'm used to.
