when i see this car it always strikes me, its a boxy fun little hatchback that has the paperweight of a potential track-racer with a simple (minimum electronics) engine and a short gear box ratio to really throw it around :) and its just a 1.4liter engine so.. gas milage is probably really good on these.

In a nutshell it has a race-car potential. Not that it feels very powerful but it’s nimble due to low weight and revy. I would always say it’s made for curvy roads and that it feels inferior on the tracks/roads with long straights. As for the gas milage it’s pretty good for the old car. 8-9l/100km in city, 5.7-6.2l/100km open road.

Yes they are. The pleasure they bring to the table is hard to compare to modern day vehicles.

Nice car. I have a very similar white RHD XS in the UK. What size wheels and tyres are you running please? Has it made any significant difference to ride and handling, or steering weight? Think I read somewhere that S1 Rallye wheels would fit ok, but the S2 ones might rub. Are yours S1 or S2? Have you had any clearance issues? Thank you for the video!

Everything is very original and beautiful. Just don't run like that on public roads. Maybe you know where I can get rubbers for 3-door 205 rear side windows, that have not worn out from the time? Windows, like the better equipped models, that are hinged? Thank you :)

Hey tnx :) It might seem a bit faster than it actually is due to wide-angle lens. Check out this: www.peugeot-tuning-parts.co.uk/windows-seals I hope it was helpful. :)
