Is your car running lean from the exhaust mods? Did you get much backfire in the first few weeks of wear? I'm thinking of doing a similar upgrade.

I think you've already answered this, but I can't tell from the translation! If you leave it in normal mode does it pop and bang like crazy with the decat? Or is it only when you put it in sport mode?

Only when you put it on sportmode. In normal, it barely ever pops, and when you are not agressive with the throttle it's actually even really refined! :-)

hi, what kind of tune are you thinking for your rs? i have one on my own but i´ve some doubts about that, and i´m waiting for my warranty expire. thanks

What do you mean 'what kind of tune'? Just a ecu flash to increase the torque and horsepower?

Wat een geluid man! Heb je hem zelf gemonteerd? Blijkt moeilijk te zijn. Ik heb zelf al een milltek catback. Vind hem net niet hard genoeg. Gisteren achterdemper eraf gehaald maar dat was echt véél te hard. Bang dat decat dat ook wordt

Heb het niet zelf gedaan, het is een hele karwei op een RS. Je kan mss gaan voor een sportcat met 100 of 200 cellen, gaat niet te luid zijn zoals decat en ook geen problemen met de keuring!

welken decat heb jij steken? die van milltek? ... ben aan het twijfelen om bij (rij met een 2010 megane RS) mij ook decat te gaan

+sven wellens Klopt, die van Milltek. Ik zou het zeer hard aanraden, het is wel luid maar het klinkt zooo puur! Je moet alleen zien hoe je het met de controle gaat doen, dat is wat lastig

Yo ! Hoe is het qua verbruik als je gecombineerd sportief en rustig rijdt?

Smart bam Sportief 12.5, normaal gecombineerd met heel wat autostrade 10.5 maar ik rij vrij verbruik-onvriendelijk :-). Ik kende mensen die richting 8.5 gecombineerd reden met hun Megane's...

+MrSykixx Sport. In normaal heb je de knalletjes niet. Ook niet met decat.

Amateur Detailing Perfect dan moet ik mezelf ook snel één aanschaffen klinkt lekker :D maar zal nog beter klinken in het echt !

Heb je de andere video op mijn kanaal al gezien? Heb een video die specifiek over het geluid gaat van voor en na de decat. En ja in het echt klinkt het nog 5 maal beter!

+Amateur Detailing daar zeg je iets intressants. Als je zonder sport gewoon normaal kan rijden..? Is het dan alsnog heel hard qua geluid als je normaal rijdt?

stock exhaust with decat and resonator delete (midbox). Backbox is all stock. No drone & perfect sound.

Hi, after you had the tune did you notice any torque steer or tram-lining (do you have to wrestle with the steering wheel?). Thanks

I did very much so, but I also did before the tune. Turned out my tires were the problem. Replaced them with brand new Michelin Pilot Supersports and got an alignment and now I can go full throttle in second with 2 fingers holding the wheel!

Aaron Mattheus Thanks Aaron :) I have just last week had 245 40 18 supersports fitted. The car was fine on the original PS2 though. I think I will have my ecu remapped/flashed some time. :)

Did you notice much difference going to the wider 245 tyre??

Crazy Car Guy Yes. I went 235 40 18 PS2 to 245 40 18 PSS. The biggest difference is the rear end is no longer sketchy so no problems with it moving around like crazy. It also has a characteristic where the rear end likes to just jump out and I think its one of the main reasons people end up in the barriers at the ring, but now on PSS it jumps out/bites as before, but is almost immediately stopped when the tyres are back in contact with the road. It also has even more traction. I wouldn't say wheel spin was ever a problem when the tyres and tarmac were warm on the PS2 but now on the PSS it just sticks and I am still not 100% sure where the grip limits are, the grip is more than you could ever want on the road. Its still playful and adjustable as before but with more grip. In terms of looks the PSS is not as rounded at the top as the PS2 is - it is more square. There is ever so slightly more rim protection but we are talking 1-2mm here. Fuel consumption before on PS2 @40psi (how I got it from dealer) it would return 42mpg. Now on PSS @32psi it returns 38mpg. This is with cruise control on at 70MPH. HTH

Wow cheers for the in depth answer!! I'm looking at getting rs250/265 for my next car, my current car is awd turbo (have owned a few like this) and i have never owned a turboed fwd. the thing i don't want is a wheel tugging understeery car (aka mazda 3 mps), its crazy how the megane is soo grippy for a fwd though. Is your car standard?? Remapped?
