lol my first boyfriend that I was with for 5 years, it took me a few of those years to realize he was bisexual but leaned towards men….maybe even fully gay. So some people actually do this on purpose (and not in a violet marriage sort of way either). Love can be friendship, and some guys might be homoromantic but het, bi or even a-sexual. So you can be best friends with a gay guy who even prefers guys, but he might also want a normal family. I have known couples like that. One has been married for 34 years and has 6 kids. They all know their dad/husband is attracted to men, but he adores his wife. He likes to say he might be homosexual, but is also (not her real name) Mary-sexual too. It's really weird and the wife is a bit butch (even taller than the husband) but they make it work and seem to be very much in love & are best friends.
