I love the fire and strength Persephone carries herself with. So many people just see her as the sweet little goddess of spring and forget that she's the Queen of the Underworld (and protector of women, depending on what myths you go off of and what your beliefs are if you're a pagan). Love to see someone truly show that side of her!

People were actually afraid to say her name! "Persephone" actually means "Destroyer", if I'm not mistaken!

@@rowanginsberg3283She had a ton of epithets (nicknames), and there's a chance that the names we know her as (Kore, Persephone, Despoina) are really epithets of an ancient primordial death goddess, so scary it's basically "Don't say her name, you'll get her attention..." I also heard that Persephone means "Bringer of Destruction" which makes her title "Dread Persephone" even better. It's basically "Dread Bringer of Destruction". And considering as how her and her mother Demeter were just known as the Wannasso (Two Queens) in Mycenean Greece (the Ancient Greece of Ancient Greece), I kinda feel like that's evidence for the theory I just mentioned.

I love this! You can feel the power and emotions from each goddess. I love how Athena and Medusa helped each other despite their past and how Hera was so instrumental in Zeus' downfall.

You can see how elaborate each of the characters is, it's incredibly beautiful. They have one thing in common, Zeus, they're not just angry, each of them shows... a desire for revenge. Not only because of Zeus' infidelity and hurting other people's feelings, but also the jealousy, the anger, they want to fight. It shows in everyone's eyes and face, they just want revenge. That final Nyx look was perfect, it was relief and satisfaction, it was beautiful ✨ the whole thing was beautiful ❤️✨✨✨

I love how most of the goddesses are sad but determined to stop Zeus’s horrible line of cruelty and sexism. His life spent treating women as objects that he can use for heirs but all the people he hurt are sick and tired of it. And even though his daughter and wife don’t want to, they must bring him down. Also nice to see the possibility of Athena forgiving Medusa and admitting how jealous she was.

All the more fitting because she suffered betrayal in the hands of Zeus himself (by assaulting her that resulted to the birth of the face that launched a thousand ships in some versions of the mythos). Not to mention he added an insult to her injury by exploiting her anger to diminish mortals on earth (for his own ends) in the Trojan War.

Fun Fact: In Greek Mythology, Hera actually did try to overthrow Zeus with Poseidon, Athena and Apollo.

And they were punished after Zeus destroyed them. Hera was captured and hung over the void of Chaos. Poseidon and Apollo were stripped of their immortality to work for the king of Troy (reason Poseidon sent that sea monster to terrorize the Troyans). And Athena had no punishment as she was Zeus’ favourite

This is wonderful! I loved it. The genuine sadness and hurt in Hera's eyes and the anger in the other goddesses' simply prove how great of an actress you are.
