Everything is automatic. Lights, transmission, mirrors are cameras. Do trucks there have cameras inside the cab. All that's missing is autopilot.

Do you have a forward facing driving light on the rear of your trailer or is there always a car riding close to your trailer? I know those are not legal on trailers in the United States only amber and red over here.

Im pretty sure there isnt a light like this. If you talk about the light in the mirrors, i can tell you that this modern camera mirrors lighten the picture up, at least in MAN and DAF, maybe Mercedes aswell.

@@Daniel-l7n9o I think they're on about the white light in the drivers mirror between the blue and yellow line. Looks like a marker light, but I didn't notice one on the passenger side. Either way, it's quite bright.

@@Xaid0nTT Ahhh, now i got what you two mean. In europe we have white lights to the front and red lights to the back. Those are called position lights and make sure that everyone can see the shape of the vehicle/the trailer when its dark. The white lights in the mirrors are actually pretty usefull, so you csn see always see the end of the trailer. Those lines show, if the setting is correct, the point where the end of the trailer is even if you cant see it. The reason why you only see it on the drivers side is that most drivers set their mirrors on that side in a closer angle, so that they can see the direction of the trailer better when they drive backwards. I do it myself because in the wide-angle mirror i cant see details so close. I hope my english is good enough to understand my explanation.
