a little tip for you is if it is a weird size cap in a unit and its not the oem cap (like that titan that was on the carrier) just check the compressor and fan labels for the correct cap size because i'm pretty sure that was the wrong size cap that someone put on there. Years ago I used to replace them based on whatever was in there, but I learned after too many bad compressors and condenser fan motors just how much an over or undersized cap can effect the components. Just thought I would share that with you.

The fan won’t “amp out” at 1.41 or 1.42 and “trip the breaker.” That fan can pull way more than it’s rated for and as long as the compressor and fan together aren’t pulling over what the breaker is rated for, it won’t trip. Otherwise, good work. This is an amazing trade and it looks like you’ll have a bright future in it.
