This video makes Catnap look like he never actually wanted this. He just wanted to help his friends sleep with his unique power but instead made his friends complete addicts to his sleepy gas breath and deep down behind that creepy smile lies a broken soul full of guilt to what he has done to his friends. Unlike in the actual official VHS for the game where he seems to love the fact that he’s worshipped like a god for his addictive gas breath. Official VHS made him look like a sadistic psychopath while this video made him seem like a sad soul with a dangerous power he never wanted and all he can do is just forcefully smile about it. Edit: Theodore is Catnap! The Prototype saved him from dying. The dumbass scientists decided to choose him for experimenting and turned him into Catnap. Catnap probably doesn’t remember much of who he use to be but he does still remember Prototype and worships him now. He sees him not just as a friend but as a savior and a god. So now Catnap is basically the Prototype’s henchman having him do all his bidding. That’s basically the gist of what we got so far.

Sorry to AU dump but somehow in all of the right places, this fits with how My AU!Catnap feels the entirety of the tape (in my AU Mascot Catnap and Cartoon Catnap are two separate entities and somehow I won't delve into it the critters get into the real word don't ask how I am still working on it-) Cartoon!Catnap is in constant suffering due to his "unique" ability to create sleeping gas, not JUST because of what it does to his friends (who are his only friends cause every other side character in the show finds him unnerving cause of his constant smile and unblinking stare) but also what does to himself, unlike what the gas does to his friends and putting them to sleep, it does a complete 180 when it comes to Catnap himself, rendering him either unable to sleep or when he does somehow sleep, he always gets night terrors/Nightmares, very vivid ones in fact, every single time he attempts to sleep, so he is forced to stay up all night every night, each time he expels gas it worsens his condition, it also forces his body to keep up an big wide mostly unmoving smile and an unblinking stare, the worst part about all this is that he is practically unable to communicate this problem of his to his own friends, again not just because he doesn't want to make them feel bad, but it is also due to his low social and communication skills, (Yes I made him Autistic cause I have autism too ;w; this is also bad for him cause he is very sensitive to sound, the sound of his friends' laughing manically and loudly when he expel gas overwhelms him a lot) He is in a constant state of suffering physically, mentally and emotionally (possibly even more than that) and his friends don't even know it cause he never mentions it, (plus he doesn't talk a whole lot) he is forever trapped in a cycle of suffering and torment of seeing what he does to his own friends and what he does to himself, and all he can do, is just sit/stand there, all stiff and his tail between his legs showing how fearful he is in the situation he is in, his sanity slowly fading away as he realizes, he will never be free from this constant state of suffering... I would also like to add that Cartoon!Catnap is only 15 years old in this AU, everyone ranges from 10-15 years old. This video is an perfect representation Of Catnap's suffering and his sanity slowly plummeting to the depths as he sits there, waiting for the next adventure to begin and the cycle to repeat itself... I believe that these are animals, they are the children of the factory, and the purple cat controlled their minds and then they turned them into dolls because at the end of the episode you will find that their bodies are devoid of organs. Also, the factory is located in a forest and a house as well, meaning that the house they are in is the same factory, and if you notice, you will find The clock stopped at 10:06, and this reminds me of Experiment 1006. On top of that, the hands of the clock are bones, and Experiment 1006 is the only one that contains bones, I think.

Cat nap looks more like the idea of Moondrop from fnaf security breach. But except this guy uses some sort of...laughing gas poison? While Moondrop just heads out straight to kill them. Its kinds same in killing them to put them to sleep
