So to do a lot of scans they have to give you something called contrast which does exactly what I sounds like its an IV fluid that makes it easier to see structures so if someone is allergic to it then he would need to know to give something else

As a radiologist, this was spot on man. Esp how we don't actually know anything about physics. And yes, I always let the rotators go (read: kick out) by 10 am. Having to talk to them slows us down (but we like people, I promise!)

That's what the residents think. When they start as staff the shock of the volume of work is the first time they really realize how sheltered they were as residents (depending on where they work and in what subspecialty area of course. I don't miss resident call though.
