I want to tell you something, it might get a little bit longer (its insanely long, I'm so sorry XD). So I'm coming from the geometry dash community. I dont want to deep dive into there too much, but the current hardest level, around 1 1/2 minutes is so insanely difficult, that more than a half of these jumps are 60 fps frame perfects and also a few 120 fps frane perfects. Why am I telling you that you might wonder. I realised, that especially longer categories have little to no frame perfect inputs during the run. As far as I know, SM64 is in 30 fps, right? So what I realised, the runs are very optimized in the pathing and the movement. But even if it feels scary, you wont believe me, how insanely consistant you can make frame perfects. The thing is, learning frame perfect strats is probably never easier to learn for a speedrunner than for, for example me. I just wanna say, if you train certain parts enough, there is a LOT of potential in frame perfect strats. But one little thing I want to add. If you do such strats, you should never ever focus on the timing. Your conscious focus is very bad at such strats, but your unconscious brain (or how its called XD) can get so so much better, that if you focus during a strat, you will literally mess it up. Thats so so important, you dont believe how much difference that makes XD. I know, its a bit weird for a random dude giving you advice, but I kinda just wanted to say that XD oh yeah, its probably not new to you, but never ever think, that we are even remotely close to the human limit. And at least for precise timings, I very much know, how insanely far we are from any human limit there XD
