This is both hilariously spot on but also representative of why I think the Hobbes trilogy of podcasts is so compelling and classy - he's really great about giving credit where it's due, or maintaining human empathy even when the subject person is getting well-deserved critiques in other areas. Like on Maintenance Phase, even when they're talking about some health grifter or problematic lifestyle guru, if they mention something bad having happened to that person, Michael and Aubrey are just as concerned/sympathetic as if it was a better person they're discussing. It's a much higher quality way to discuss these people than just snarking because the point you're making is that this person is bad.

Dunno the guy youre doing an impression of, or the podcast, but I am a big fan of jokes like these. Typically i go for a simple "me when i-" to lead in, rather than the "im doing an impression of", or "POV" however, i must recognize rhis as a masterpiece of the genre. The amount of runtime explaining the joke versus executing is ideal. It also made it better for me that the video buffered exactly before you started the impression, adding an additional element of suspence. So basically, this was epic
