Ah, thank you for this. i hit play and immediately wondered why it was shrill; turning that odd setting off did the trick. Please continue making wonderful audio experiences, and have a great day.

i blame the "slowed GlassBreak" sample that this track uses (like at about 1:21:48, but its littered all throughout the original game's audio)...it adds a lot of Treble, which throws off the "average" of the video...

The dungeon was quite the hell to go through as a kid especially on the N64 version. Don't know if I would want to spend the night here LOL
@n64atnite21 сағат бұрын
You could spend all night here trying to figure out what to do next 🤣

Love these videos not just for the atmosphere and music but because they capture how so many of these areas you'd otherwise pass by quickly are completely fascinating when taken in isolation and viewed from the proper angle

the Slow/down-pitched effect works wonders with this track

You know, despite all the hatred this temple recieves, the water temple has consistently always been one of my favorites. It's rather relaxing to just sit in the middle of the temple and vibe. The sound of running water is much more relaxing than the traps and the Tektites.

this is and always was my favorite zelda temple and music of every game from the original to now. stone tower is tied for the spot
@n64atnite21 сағат бұрын
Most people hate the water temple because of confusing it was but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty chill. The look and music of the temple was always relaxing to me.

There also is the fact that I have played oot and mm more times in my life than any other game so I know it like the back of my hand 😂 but even as a 10 year old kid playing this when it came out, I always loved this place and the music was such a counter to the frustration of not knowing where to go. I have this on a relaxing meditation Playlist even now @@n64atnite

...and it's raining... Outside?? Guys ... The Water Temple is a submerged cave structure _underneath a mountain_ How are you going to hear the rain??

how about "Link played the Song of Storms in the previous room"? is that easier to maintain as a headcanon?
@kotaro073 сағат бұрын
Honestly, take out the rain and just add like under water effects at some cuts of the video and it's good.

he Used To be, back in Zelda-II...how the mighty have fallen-- demoted to Mini-Boss of one of the Regional Dungeons...i kinda wish Dark Link was more like Ganondorf's "Deputy"; a second-in-command type that does most of the WORK, while Ganondorf himself is the one who makes the PLANS...

How can you have shots of the game like that? It's like an editor
@rtyuik741 минут бұрын
speedrunner ZFG uses whats commonly called a "practice ROM" when learning new setups for tricks (since it can show a lot more important information, like control stick angles)...one of its features is a Freecam, which means that Link can be far-enough away to not trigger Enemy reactions (and also far-enough away to not hear his Idle Animations), or even get a "cinematic view" of pre-recorded inputs being played back...thats how I'D set up a video like this, at least...
