Do you know what people put so much into a wedding and there’s nothing wrong with wanting a big wedding but sometimes you can’t do it so instead of sitting around moping and saying, I don’t want to get married so I can have a big wedding look you do what you have to do. A wedding is about you and your spouse and the love you have for each other. Save that money for your house and not trying to show off in front of other people who you want to impress who will judge how good or bad your wedding was like how the food, decorations …….people spend thousands of dollars and year of planning and a whole lot of unnecessary stress for something that can only last 15 min, looks like this marriage will be everlasting. I knew at least two couples who did the civil ceremony at the court house, and the couples in those marriages celebrated 25yo and are still going vs those who had elaborate ceremonies, and I know four of those couples. One got an annulment after three months.😮 One lasted four year. And the other two were eighteen months and two years, respectively. The venue doesn't matter. It's the commitment the couple shares to making their marriage everything they dreamed of.
