What you have explained is not uncommon. Moon can have empty houses to its left and right. But doesn't mean Kemdrum yoga is forming. There are many other factors. 1) If there is no planet (other than Sun, Rahu, Ketu) aspecting it 2) If there is no planet in Kendra (4,7,10) places from the moon 3) No parivartan yoga with Moon Only if all these points are also happening in a chart (other than Moon being alone), only then Kemdrum yoga occurs, else not.

Continued... but learning more about astrology has given me the courage to aknowlege my feelings (Moon) which have always gotten me into trouble (6th Scorp) and accept that I don't feel good here because my soppy wet broken moon gets supported by the outside elements and flourishes in it's negative aspect in 6th Scorp. @KRSchannel Just because they are slow moving and generational planets doesn't mean they can't effect individuality. What about house placements and aspects? What about MidPoints? Who rules Aquarius, Virgo, Scorpio, and Pisces? (and Taurus) Who will govern the 2nd/6th/8th/11th and 12th houses? Sometimes ancient knowledge isn't enough. Did the ancients know about internet? Cell phones? Solar Panels? Science is about learning new things and adapting them in modern ways.

I feel you!! Especially if you have a fire Sun. You can really feel the weight of your moon because of the contrast. I have moon in 6H Scorpio....hate it. I have found that being in a warm and sunny climate helps a lot; for example: now I live in Washington State and I Fu@*ing hate it here. The rain is sooo depressing to me. When I lived in S. The only way I see the Moon relating to poverty isn't concerning money but food. When it comes to the issues of money, I usualy look to Venus (what one treassures the most) Pluto (how people treat money) Jupiter (monetary growth) Mercury (the mind-set concerning money) and Saturn (how people save money.) The Moon really don't have much to say about money. It seems like youre talking about Mercury then the Moon in this video.
