Beautiful landscapes to drive through. My wife and I were born on the island and are planning on a return trip. I enjoy driving in the mountains in Canada and U.S but I am looking forward to driving on Sao Miguel after seeing your videos. 👍

We ended up visiting Sao Miguel and drove all over the island with a rental car.. For someone who enjoys driving on winding country roads, I was blown away by the beauty. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful part of the island. We are going back again this year for a longer stay. I watched this video again. You do a very good job with your videos. Hello! thanks for your videos! I plan to move to São Miguel in 1 or 2 years with my parents and i want to buy a house or apartment. I would like to ask you some questions: 1. does the law protect against the phenomenon of okupas? 2. how safe is life on islands? (Do you have theft, robbery, etc.) 3. Does the island have all the goods for life or do you have to go to the mainland to buy some? 4. How do homes without heating handle with damp and mould? 5. What is better to buy a house or an apartment? which is safer and more convenient? Thank you.

Hello! Thanks for your comment! We don't need to go to mainland Portugal because we have everything we need here! An apartment will be better as it is cheaper and less likely to get damp. We have a low crime rate.
